The NEMOS Off-Grid Energy System was designed as a relialable backup power system for our offshore test facilities. The compact aggregate consists of a balanced combination of solar and wind modules, large batteries, a diesel generator and control hardware. In the current reference configuration it supplies an average power of 4.5 kVA and up to 9 kVA peak for three-phase electrical consumers. The reference system is able to provide continous power for a minimum of two days without the usage of wind and sun. Good weather conditions lead to significantly longer runtimes. Based on our simulation tools, the system`s setup and dimensions get optimized for individual applications. The system is shipped in a 10' ISO container with all required components including the integrated fuel tank. At the desired location, small wind and solar components can be installed tool-free within a few minutes.
